Halling after the Feb 2009 Snowstorms. Cold East winds brought very heavy snow showers across the North Sea and up the Thames Estuary overnight Sunday 1st Feb. Snow of up to 4-5 inches (10-12cms) fell. More snow started to fall around lunchtime on Monday 2nd but didn't really settle that much. Tuesday dawned sunny, but overnight temperatures of -5 made for a chilly start.
