Halling after the Feb 2009 Snowstorms. Cold East winds brought very heavy snow showers across the North Sea and up the Thames Estuary overnight Sunday 1st Feb. Snow of up to 4-5 inches (10-12cms) fell. More snow started fall around lunchtime on Monday 2nd but didn't settle that much. Tuesday dawned sunny but overnight temperatures of -5 made a chilly start.
